  This school has been such a breathe of fresh air-literally and professionally. I transferred in as a 5th grade teacher second semester and immediately felt at home. The academic coaches bend over backwards to help the teachers and academic learning experiences improve. The administration, teachers, guidance counselor, and support staff are all so dedicated and look at each child as an individual with gifts and strengths and needs.
  
  The principal, Ms. Hutcherson and the vice principal, Ms. Dean, are always available with an "open door". They have been willing to help and when lever I go to their offices. I have felt so appreciated as I teacher and supported in my work with the children at this school.
  
  There is a culture of collaboration among all the grade level teams. Almost everyone on campus has reached out to welcome and encourage me, and some have spent hours of their own time to help me. I have never seen a school with so many hard working, cheerful and dedicated professionals. The children who are creative, dedicated to learning, engaged, respectful, and so fun to teach. I have been amazed by all loving families, community spirit, and hard work I have witnessed at this school. It's been a wonderful place to start my professional career in Volusia County.
